Dosage:

Active Ingredient: Domperidone Maleate (Take as prescribed by your doctor)

Possible Side Effects:

❌ Skin rash (2.8%)
❌ Breast enlargement/gynaecomastia (5.3%)

Drug Interactions:

Avoid taking Motilium with:

• CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., indinavir)
• Certain antiarrhythmic drugs (e.g., amiodarone, disopyramide)
• Antipsychotics (e.g., haloperidol, pimozide)
• Antidepressants (e.g., citalopram, escitalopram)
• Antibiotics (e.g., levofloxacin, moxifloxacin)
• Antifungal agents (e.g., pentamidine)
• Antimalarial drugs (e.g., halofantrine)
• Cancer treatment drugs (e.g., toremifene, vandetanib)
• Other medications (e.g., methadone, bepridil)

Indications:

Motilium is used to:
✔ Treat nausea and vomiting
✔ Improve stomach motility

When Not to Use

🚫 Do NOT use if you have:

• Liver disease (moderate to severe hepatic impairment)
• Heart conditions (prolonged QT interval, congestive heart failure)
• Electrolyte imbalance
