How It Works

Usage and Dosage

Dosage:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: 15–30 ml three times a day.

  • Children 6–12 years: 15–30 ml three times a day.

Administration:

  • Use a measuring cup or spoon for accurate dosing.

⚠️ Warnings – Hydryllin Syrup

  1. Do Not Use:

    • If you are allergic to aminophylline, diphenhydramine, or any other ingredient in this formulation.

    • In children under 2 years of age without medical supervision.

  2. Avoid Alcohol:

    • Combining Hydryllin with alcohol may intensify drowsiness and central nervous system depression.

  3. Sedative Effect:

    • Hydryllin contains diphenhydramine, which can cause significant drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery after taking it.

  4. Heart Disease:

    • Use cautiously in patients with a history of arrhythmias, high blood pressure, or other cardiovascular issues, as aminophylline can increase heart rate.

  5. Seizure Risk:

    • Theophylline derivatives like aminophylline may lower the seizure threshold—not recommended for patients with seizure disorders unless supervised by a doctor.
