Gaviscon forms a protective raft-like barrier that floats on top of stomach contents. This prevents acid from flowing back up into the esophagus, offering fast and soothing relief from heartburn and indigestion.

Gaviscon Syrup Usage and Safety

Dosage

  • Adults & Children 12+: 10–20 ml after meals and at bedtime

  • Children 6–12 years: 5–10 ml after meals and at bedtime

  • Not recommended for children under 6 unless directed by a doctor
