How It Works

Diclofenac potassium is an NSAID that works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, which play a key role in the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in pain, fever, and inflammation. By reducing these substances, Caflam provides rapid pain relief and reduces inflammation.

Caflam Usage and Safety

Dosage

  • Adults: Typically 50mg tablet 2 to 3 times daily with meals.

  • Children: Use only if prescribed by a doctor based on body weight.

🚫 When Not to Use

Do not take Caflam if you have:

  • Known allergy to Diclofenac or other NSAIDs

  • Active peptic ulcer or bleeding disorders

  • Severe liver or kidney impairment

  • History of asthma triggered by NSAIDs

  • Pregnancy (especially in the third trimester)
