Decadron (dexamethasone) is a potent glucocorticoid that works by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system. It stabilizes cell membranes, decreases capillary permeability, and blocks the release of substances involved in inflammatory and allergic responses.
Adults & Children: Varies widely depending on condition. Usually given intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM).
