Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) is naturally synthesized in the skin under UV light and becomes biologically active after metabolism in the liver and kidneys, forming 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol. This active form helps regulate calcium and phosphate balance in the body, ensuring healthy bone and muscle function.
Dosage
Adults & Children (as advised): Typically, one chewable tablet as per physician’s recommendation.
Must be taken with or after meals, preferably with a calcium supplement if required.
